Before seeing what Monte Maddox has been up to, I had no idea that computers could be so visually appealing. His custom built systems make me think of race cars-- shiny quick machines that are top of the line and built to last. Monte has lived in Medford Oregon, in the heart of the Rogue Valley for the past twenty years and in 1998 he started out designing computer software for small businesses. He began putting together computer systems and discovered that building computers made him happy. "I liked creating software, but building systems is something I really enjoy doing", he says.
